Autism Society Is Asking for Votes

I received the following request from the Autism Society. As many of you know, the Autism Society provided us with a grant that helped to fund our Parent PREP program. Now they are asking us to help support them by voting for their entry into the Pepsi Refresh Project. Below is the letter. Let's support them in their quest for this grant!

-----------

Every month, Pepsi awards grants through the Refresh Project for ideas that will have a positive impact- in May, the Autism Society is eligible for a $250K grant to expand our free nationwide support line to offer confidential, one-to-one contact with a live Information and Referral Specialist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Go to www.refresheverything.com/autismsource today to show your support of this great idea!

Clear Horizons Academy is listed in our Autism Source Resource Database so we are contacting you today asking for your help and support. With funding from this grant, the Autism Society would be able to expand our national contact center making trained professionals available for parents, individuals on the spectrum, and professionals at any hour of the day or night. One of the biggest strengths of our organization is our nationwide network - the 24/7 help-line will be a conduit to valuable sources of support, our local chapters and our on-line resource directory providing comprehensive information on services and supports throughout the U.S. This database, already containing more than 25,000 listings will be expanded and improved as a result of this grant.

Ideas that get the highest number of votes for each funding level in a one month period get funded, so we need you to log on and vote every single day in the month of May. You can vote for 10 different ideas every day, so please use one of those votes to support our project (be aware that only the top 2 projects in the $250K level will be funded). Your vote has the potential to have a huge impact on how the Autism Society provides critical services and improves the lives of all affected by autism.

Please help us spread the word -
Vote and ask others to do the same at
www.refresheverything.com/autismsource throughout May

PLEASE VOTE EVERY DAY!
